AVANTEL AB is a Swedish high-tech company founded in 1984. We provide custom design
product development in the area of electronic hardware, including firmware and software.
We have experts in analog, digital and microprocessor technology. We have experience from
many fields including broadcast and consumer audio and video, telecom equipment, computer
peripherals, medical equipment and robotics. Our designs are often made to meet tough
environmental conditions and requirements, e.g. space, airborne and rail vehicle
equipment. Assignments usually start with pilot studies and by specifying the new product.
After the design and development work is done and verified, we deliver complete
manufacturing documentation. We offer our customers a small, effective team of experienced
and specialised professionals. Our laboratory is equipped with a broad range of modern and
high-class instruments and development tools. Our ability to cut down the time schedule to
a minimum and deliver on time reduces the critical time-to-market and consequently
maximises product sales and profit. We belive that the profitability of any product is
determined by the quality of the specification and development work. This is why we have
invested in a high quality profile, both in terms of the technical solutions in the
development work and in the longer perspective of the lifetime of the product. Production,
test and service are all essential for the success of the product and are taken into
consideration early on in the design stage. It is important for us to meet the
requirements from the intended market. We have long experience in designing for EMC
(ElectroMagnetic Compatibility) and the safety requirements of different countries. We
have test and measurement equipment for EMI (ElectroMagnetic Interference) and ESD
(ElectroStatic Discharge) which makes us able to optimise performance as early as possible
in the design work and to verify that the relevant standards are met.
